The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will have a higher chance of winning the 2024 elections if it chooses Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen as its presidential candidate, according to former member of parliament for the Ayensuano,Samuel Ayeh-Paye.
He claims that Mr. Kyerematen is untarnished in any way, thus the NPP’s political rivals cannot criticize his reputation or integrity.
Ayeh-Paye urged the delegates to unite behind Alan in order to protect the party from the NDC’s unwelcome personal attacks on their presidential candidate.
“Choosing Mr.Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen as the flagbearer would make it much simpler for the NPP “to break the eight,”Samuel Ayeh-Paye told Kwaku Owusu Adjei(Patoo) on Accra-based Original TV.
He continued, “We are presenting to you a candidate that would make our job very simple…, and I am saying the love for Alan is huge, and he is the one that can break the dominance of the NDC.”
He asserted that the lack of evidence the NDC has to refute Mr. Kyerematen serves as adequate justification for party delegates to support him, and he urged the party apparatus to look beyond the internal primaries to the wider contest with the NDC if they are determined to “break the 8.”
