Member of Parliament for Juaboso Constituency, Kwabena Minta Akandoh, his bodyguard Corporal Joseph Ntimbe, and driver, Joseph Amo, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, survived a fatal accident en route to Accra from Sefwi through Kumasi.

Multiple sources say his Landcruiser collided head-on with a Mercedes Benz Sprinter bus heading towards Sefwi Wiawso from Kumasi around a community known as Nyinahin Twere Nyame.

Victims of the accident were rushed to the Nyinahin Government Hospital and the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for treatment.

Although details of the accident remains scanty, Metro TV gathers that all passengers in the Sprinter bus and the MP’s Landcruiser survived the serious accident, albeit with various injuries.

The MP, who was also briefly admitted, is reportedly responding to treatment.
