Kudus to West Ham: Fulfill your mission — Stonebwoy urges young star

Ghana’s dancehall artiste Livingstone Satekla Satakla known in music circles as Stonebwoy has sent a few words of encouragement to Mohammed Kudus on his move to West Ham.

The expressive midfielder earlier this week completed his much-talked-about move to England and his favorite artist, with whom he shares a special relationship took to Instagram to wish the young star well.

“You are blessed, go and fulfill your mission,” Stonebwoy wrote.

The 23-year-old footballer recently sealed a five-year move to the Hammers in a transfer deal valued at £38 million, including add-ons, from Dutch giants Ajax.

During the  photo taking session and unveiling of Kudus, Stonebwoy’s ‘Into The Future’ off his 5th Dimension album was played in the background to signify the playmaker’s love for Stonebwoy.

Kudus has admitted he is a big fan of the head honcho of the Bhim Nation.

“Most of the songs, I relate to the lyrics. His songs are spiritual to me. You [Ajax] got to know about him when I got injured [in the Champions League against Liverpool] and I was playing most of his songs during the rehabilitation times,” he told the Ajax’s media when Stonebwoy paid him a visit in Amsterdam in April 2022.

“I just relate [to the songs] spiritually and most of it on how it can have an impact on me,” he added.

Kudus could have his debut his Friday as he has already begun training with the East London side.
