The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga, has promised to bring the youth of Bawku together through football activities.
The NDC lawmaker has so far distributed footballs and jerseys to all the electoral areas in the constituency in anticipation of that project.
The constituency Chairman of the NDC made the presentation to the youth on behalf of the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central and urged the youth to make this a venture to re-socialise and reunite for peace and development in Bawku.
The Member of Parliament who is said to have interests in football is aiming at raising the standard of football in the Bawku area. He is currently constructing a football pitch with all sporting facilities in it and an accommodation for team players.
Currently, some areas in the Bawku area have quarantined each other and residents of these areas do not socialise, however, the Member of Parliament has promised to bring these people together.
The football activities are expected to kick-start through zones and the final would be played on one grounds.
