Former Municipal Chief Executive for the Bawku Municipal, Musah Abdulai, has stated that the operations of officers of the Ghana Armed Forces in the Bawku area need to be investigated.

His statement comes at the back of the killing of three young men in the area by the law enforcement agency. This killing sparked outrage protest by women in the area on Friday.

Musah Abdulai, the former Municipal Security head of the area has queried the reasons for the execution of civilians by the military.

He stated that this incident is not the first and has happened severally to innocent citizens, including a woman who was killed by same officers at the same area.

Musah Abdulai thinks something needs to be done in order to redeem the image of the military.

He has therefore debunked claims by the Ghana Armed Forces that, the three young men were armed and had exchanged fire with the military in the process that led to the execution.
