A three-month-old baby girl has been abandoned in the bush by her mother at Gomoa Akraman in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
The baby’s cry was heard by some passersby who aided her rescue and subsequently handed her over to the Police.
The cry for mercy by the three months old baby was so loud that it attracted the attention of passersby who drew nigh to have her rescued.
Her rescuers found her wrapped in a cloth and lying on a table in an uncompleted building in a bush.
The baby who was in perfect condition at the time she was rescued was handed over to the police who subsequently took her to the Gomoa East District Social Welfare Center.
The mother of the baby is yet to be identified.
