NDC Deputy National Organizer Criticizes NPP, Emphasizes Party’s Nation-Building Agenda

In a recent capacity-building session organized by the Volta Regional Executive for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Tongor, Deputy National Organizer Elikem Kotoko delivered strong remarks criticizing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) while emphasizing the NDC’s focus on nation-building.

During the workshop aimed at enhancing the communication skills of branch officers, Elikplim Kotoko highlighted the ideological differences between the NDC and NPP. He emphasized that the NDC’s core mission revolves around building and developing the country, contrasting it with what he described as the NPP’s tendency to prioritize acquiring wealth at the expense of Ghanaians.

The event, attended by NDC branch communicators from across the constituency and key party executives including Deputy National Communications Officer Malik Basintale and Regional Chairman Mawutor Agbavitor, focused on empowering communicators to effectively convey the party’s policies and messages.

Deputy National Organizer Kotoko, speaking to the media, reiterated the NDC’s commitment to nation-building and criticized the NPP for alleged corruption and self-serving practices during their governance.

Malik Basintale, also a Deputy National Communications Officer for the NDC, urged the NPP to address the challenges they created rather than resisting a potential handover to the NDC, highlighting the importance of constructive governance.

Member of Parliament for South Dayi Constituency, Nelson Rockson Dafeamekpor, explained that the workshop aimed to educate communicators on proper communication skills to effectively convey the party’s message to Ghanaians, especially with the upcoming general elections on the horizon.

The event underscored the NDC’s messaging on national development and accountability, setting the stage for robust political discourse leading up to the elections.
