Former National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu, asserts that the Party has the ability to turn around Ghana’s situation in a year.
“Twelve months from now is enough for the NPP to change the fortunes of the nation for the better,” Mr. Mac Manu, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA), in an interview, at Peduase, Eastern Region.
He expressed optimism that things would improve in time for the 2024 general election and stated that the majority of the economy was gradually recovering from the recent shocks that had hit the nation.
According to Mr. Manu, the Cedi was doing fairly well and there had been notable advancements in sectors like industrialization, infrastructure development, health, and education.
The former national chairman of the NPP and chairman of Cocobod expressed optimism about the Party’s prospects of ‘breaking the eight’ in the upcoming elections.
