NPP Primaries: Class One teacher knocks down Lawyer Nambe and five others

An educationist with the Ghana Education Service Paul Alale Agobire on Saturday crashed down five heavy weights in the NPP primaries in the Bawku Central constituency.

Paul, who was regarded as an underdog during the campaign trail, surprisedly pulled 176 votes as against his close contender Lawyer Muhammad Tahiru who got 175 votes.

Rejected: 1

1. Mohammed Tahiru Nambe: 175

2. Amadu Mogtar Bagya:162

3. Mahmud Issah zakari:102

4: Paul Alale Agobriri:176

5: Agbanwaa Gabiana Abugri, (former PC 2016, 2020 elections): 33

6: Salifu Bashir: 35

In a speech, Paul Agobire called on the rank and file of the party to help him rescue the good people of Bawku from the hands of Mahama Ayariga and the NDC.
