Zoomlion is a reflection of its own achievements – Kwesi Pratt

The Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper, Mr. Kwesi Pratt, has dispelled claims that waste management company, Zoomlion Ghana Limited, is a favorite of a particular government or state regime.

Mr. Pratt said the waste management giant deserves commendation for the work it has done, noting it is the only waste management company that has been able to turn waste into useful benefits in the country.

His comments come after President Nana Akufo-Addo unveiled some 101 waste management trucks procured by Zoomlion Ghana Limited on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the Black Stars Square in Accra.

During his submission on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana on Wednesday morning, Kwesi Pratt cited the history behind the Lavender Hill,  stressing that Zoomlion is the number arguably Africa’s number one waste management firm.

“The record of Zoomlion is enviable,” he added.

Mr. Pratt further urged the waste management company to take pride in its work stating, “Zoomlion must ride on the quest of its achievement and avoid politicization.”

Discounting the partisanship of genuine observations made about Zoomlion, he expressed his keen interest in the Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong-owned business and urged the Ghanaian people to emulate his steps and offer constructive criticisms to promote the good work of the waste management company.

“Let the record of Zoomlion speak for itself. Let Zoomlion operate in professionalism”.

The seasoned journalist opined that Zoomlion Ghana Limited could have chalked more successes if not often wrongfully being tagged as an ally of a particular government in power
