Residents of Tafakwan laud Stephen Yakubu over bridge construction  

Residents of Tafakwan in the Tempane District of the Upper East Region have lauded the Upper East Regional Minister Stephen Yakubu for the construction of a bridge in the area.

The chief of the area stated that Stephen Yakubu is the first Regional Minister to visit them and they are grateful for the gesture. He added that they’ll show more gratitude to him on 7th December 2024.

The People made the statements during the Minister’s working visit to the area. The minister was among other things inspecting SOCO’s ongoing projects in the Tempane and Garu Districts.

Mr. Stephen Yakubu thanked the people for the honour and stated that the bridge when completed would boost business transactions between Togo and Ghana.

Tafakwan is a farming community in the Tempane District of the Upper East Region which is at the border of Ghana to Togo.
