Two in police grips for allegedly killing a US national in Central Region

The Ghana Police Service announced on Sunday, April 21, that it has apprehended two individuals in connection with the tragic death of a US national near Cape Coast in the Central Region.

Identified as Wisdom Sete, hailing from Togo, and Yussif Afrim, the suspects were apprehended on Friday, April 19, at Assin Praso in the Central Region.

According to the preliminary investigation conducted by the police, Wisdom Sete, purportedly the fiancé of the deceased, allegedly colluded with Yussif Afrim in the demise of Naomi Jehubiyah. The authorities have stated that Naomi’s remains have been transferred to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and further examination through an autopsy.

Furthermore, the police have recovered two vehicles belonging to the deceased from the possession of the suspects, who are presently under police custody aiding in the ongoing investigation process.
