2024 Elections: We won’t accept any intimidation — NDC calls Hawa Koomson’s bluff

The National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yammin, has said the party will engage in retaliation tactics in the 2024 elections.

He was responding to an earlier threat purported to have been issued to Mustapha Gbande, the party’s Deputy General Secretary and himself by the Awutu Senya East MP, Mavis Hawa Koomson.

Hawa Koomson is reported to have threatened Joseph Yamin and Mustapha Gbande, National Organizer and Deputy General Secretary respectively to avoid stepping foot in Kasoa ahead of the 2024 elections.

She’s reported to have said she will deal with them physically should they do so.

But during the NDC’s reorganization event in Kasoa, the National Organizer, Joseph Yamin said the party will not yield to any sort of intimidation so far as the 2024 electioneering process is concerned.

Addressing party supporters, he said the party is more than ready to respond equally to all forms of intimidation.

On his part, the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Mustapha Gbande urged the party’s supporters to remain resolute as he described the 2024 elections as a one that will determine their destiny.
