The 499 students denied admissions into the Ghana School of Law despite obtaining the pass mark are expected to begin all processes for their admission into the school.

In a statement issued by the school detailing the requirements expected of them before their admission, the students are to log on to the school’s portal on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, to begin the process.

On the Ghana School of Law’s website, the notice of the additional 499 applicants who were successful in the 2021 entrance Examination for admission to the school for the academic year are required to access the school’s portal on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, to begin their admission processes.

The provisional offer of admission, according to the school, will be provided by the school after the students have successfully map out the first step for admission after logging on to the school’s website and subsequently providing a printed document to the school before December 27, 2021.

The additional 499 students are as part of their requirements expected to add an additional passport picture of themselves. The males are expected to be in a black suit, white shirt, and black tie with no facial hair while the females wear the same without chains/pearls, dangling, or big earrings.

Earlier, the aggrieved 499 students stage series of demonstrations, a lawsuit that subsequently was withdrawn from the Human Rights Division of the Accra Circuit Court, and stakeholders’ engagement with the Attorney General who doubles as the Minister of Justice to have their concerns addressed.

The Ghana School of Law, however, has in its latest release has rescinded its decision, granting the aggrieved 499 student admission for the 2021/2022 academic year.
