A Government Spokesperson for Governance and Security, Palgrave Boakye Danquah, has commended President Akuffo Addo-led government, describing them as the best in the 4th Republic.

Speaking on Original TV’s Adwene Pa show on 2nd August 2023, he pointed out that NPP has done well when it comes to governance and deserves another term to serve the country.

“We [the NPP] have worked hard, Ghana is experiencing peace and we pray that Ghanaians will remember the “Party of Choice” at the election 2024,” he stated.

Palgrave Boakye Danquah further touted the works of President Akufo-Addo, singling out the government’s National Affordable Housing project.

“The government is investing over one hundred and eighty million dollars, with an additional cost of about 48 million dollars and 68 million US dollars putting all together the revenue amounts to over 140 million US dollars for some unfinished projects like, pipe laying, sewage and other necessities for the completion of the already existing housing units,”

Mr. Boakye Danquah also justified the Akufo-Addo’s government decision to not continue the Saglemi Housing project. He explained that proceeding with the project will cost the country millions of dollars.

“Instead the economist Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo decided to raise over a hundred million US dollars to build over 8,000 units of housing in the “New Housing Project” initiative with the catchment area of Amasaman – Pokuase, with persons in Ashongman and the entire Ga West enclave, can benefit from the housing project since its in the center of town unlike the SAGLEMI project which the opposition party built far away,” he stated.

The Spokesperson for Governance and Security concluded that the current administration has Ghanaians at heart and has started the works on the highway roads interconnecting all roads to make Ghanaians’ movement easier.
