Bawumia has no corruption tag — Ellembelle DCE

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ellembelle, Kwasi Bonzoh has described Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a man of high moral principles and integrity.

He says the Vice President has served the nation in various capacities, but there is no scandal ever associated with his name despite performing various functions at various levels in government.

Speaking in an interview with Metro News after casting his ballot, Kwasi Bonzoh declared with certainty an uncompromising victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The governing New Patriotic Party is electing a presidential candidate to represent the party in the 2024 general elections today, Saturday, November 4.

A total of 203,439 delegates are expected to participate in the election,

The four-horse race is between the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, MP for Assin, Central Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, former Agric Minister, Dr Owusu Akoto Afriyie, and former MP for Mampong Francis Addai-Nimoh.

Several polls have tipped the Vice President to win. They, however, said Kennedy Agyapong would give him a tough time.
