A young lady in her twenties met her untimely death in the Binduri District on Monday when a military amour vehicle crashed her to death.
The lady, Rashida Gumah, was on the motorbike from Bawku to Binduri when the vehicle knocked her down at Ayamkona, a suburb of the Binduri District.
The body of the lady was given to the family at Gumyoko and under the Islam culture she was buried on Tuesday morning.
The Upper East Regional Security Council on Monday, January 29 banned the riding of motorbike in the area.
This ban has been met with fierce protests by residents of the area.
