Communications Director of Betpawa Premier League leaders, Aduana Stars, Evans Oppong, says his side will beat last year’s champion Asante Kotoko in their matchday 27 fixture .
The Porcupines go head to head with the “Ogya” boys on Sunday 23 April 2023 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Prior to this game, Aduana Stars put aside their FA Cup slumber and defeated Great 1-0 to consolidate the top spot in the Ghana Premier League, while Kotoko lost 3-0 to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.
Speaking ahead of the game on Original 91.9FM’s Super Sports Show, hosted by Gideon Okyere Anim “Gatuso “, the spokesperson popularly known as Maestro, said;
” Aduana Stars are ready to face Asante Kotoko on Sunday, we are poised for that game and we will definitely beat the Porcupine Warriors “.
“We are capable of winning the Betpawa Premier League. Our focus is on the trophy”.
Currently, Asante Kotoko SC rank 5th with 39 points while Aduana Stars hold 1st position with 47 points.
