Dr. Dampare Will Go Down In History As Worst IGP Ghana Has Ever Seen – Joseph Yammin

The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yammin has observed that Ghana’s Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare is gradually tarnishing his reputation as police chief.

Joseph Yammin although admits that IGP Dampare started very well when he was appointed by President Akufo-Addo, he is gradually losing his grip.

Speaking in an interview with Accra-based Neat FM, Joseph Yammin who was reacting to the comment of the NPP Member of Parliament for Abetifi, Bryan Acheampong noted that he is convinced that the IGP cannot cause the arrest of the Minister for Food and Agriculture.

He noted that the IGP no longer has the braveness and commitment to arrest the NPP man but would have swiftly apprehended the person in question if he/she was an NDC person.

The NDC National Organizer further claimed that IGP’s work is currently “questionable” now and he will vacate the position as the “worst” ever IGP in Ghana’s history.

Joseph Yamin wonders why the IGP cannot cause the arrest of the Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency, Bryan Acheampong over some comment he made on a political platform.

He (IGP. George Akuffo Dampare) doesn’t have the balls,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show, ‘Ghana Montie’.
