Ghana Division 3: Changing Lives FC held to a pulsating 3-3 draw by Dreams Soccer Academy

Changing Lives FC shared the spoils with Dreams Soccer Academy after playing out a pulsating 3-3 draw in their Okere Akro Division 3 fixture at the Akwatiakwaso Park over the weekend.

The matchup between the two sides didn’t fail to impress, with long spells of attacking display and top-quality goals being scored to cap off what was a 6-goal thriller.

Changing Lives made their attacking intentions clear in the opening minutes of the game, taking the game to their opponents and being rewarded with a sublime goal through Ameto Michael in the 10th minute before Dreams Soccer Academy responded shortly with a beautifully worked goal.

The away side will go on to take the lead for the first time in the game with another good goal before Emmanuel Afram’s outstanding strike will draw parity for Changing Lives FC in the 50th minute.

It looked like the home side were on the cusp of clinching all three points when Tetteh Collins scored for Changing Lives FC to give them a 3-2 lead in the 70th minute, their second lead of the day.

The game will take a huge twist once again when Dreams Soccer Academy found the equalizer with a few minutes of regulation time to play, the strike ensuring neither side walked away with maximum points.

Despite the draw feeling like a loss and 2 huge points dropped on the day, the point earned was enough to elevate Changing Lives FC to the summit of the log after just 4 games, with second-placed Twum Sparks/Young United FC yet to play on matchday 4.
