The “Ghana Smart School Project” initiative is scheduled to be launched by the Akufo-Addo-led administration today, Monday, March 25, 2024.
This is an attempt to improve digitalization and e-learning.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will announce the program, which aims to improve senior high school education nationwide by giving all senior/TVET schools access to electronic devices, digital learning content, and teaching and learning management systems.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Education, signed by its Spokesperson Kwasi Kwarteng, ahead of the launch, indicated the initiative aligns with the Ministry’s “digitalisation agenda for pre-tertiary education.”
It also “supports government’s goal of leveraging technological advancements to prepare Ghanaian students for the fourth industrial revolution,” the statement revealed.
