Fans of Manchester United beat Liverpool on penalties last Saturday to emerge as winners of the Ignite Media Group (IMG) League Cup.
The fans’ engagement as part of ushering in the 2023/2024 Premier League was birth by Ignite Media Group saw fans of 12 prominent local and foreign clubs converged at the Adjringano school park in Madina to compete for laurels.
After a successful draw earlier last week, these 12 teams were put in a group of 4 and gave a keen contest on Saturday, August 5, 2023.
Manchester United after winning all group games went ahead to lace it off with Liverpool who equally gave a good account of themselves.
Liverpool came second and Barcelona were third after proceedings.
