Ghanaian Singer, Songwriter, and Producer, Gladstorm Akwaboah, popularly known in showbiz as Akwaboah Junior has announced the unfortunate demise of his father, Kwadwo Akwaboah.
Kwadwo Akwaboah, also a musician, was one of the highlife legends in the country’s entertainment industry.
According to reports, Kwadwo Akwaboah passed away at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi in the early hours of Tuesday, May 16, 2023, after battling illness.
In a Facebook post, Akwaboah Jnr. shared a photo of his father with a short caption: “RIP DADDY” meaning Rest In Peace Daddy.
Following the announcement, many Ghanaians have extended their condolences to Akwaboah Jnr. and his entire family.
Some of Kwadwo Akwaboah’s popular songs are ‘Awerekyekyere’, ‘Hini Me’, among others.
