Mahama is in “safe pair of hands” to run Ghana – Sam George

Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George says he is convinced beyond every reasonable doubt that the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang will complement John Mahama to propel the party into victory in the forthcoming election.

Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana, Sam George said he believes Naana Jane will restore the ‘lost glory’ to the office of the Vice President and deliver on its mandate appropriately.

“Yesterday [On Wednesday], I went to bed with a renewed hope in the future of this country. I have listened to Professor Naana Jane and I was in the same UPSA hall when she was outdoored by President Mahama in 2020. I must state without any equivocation that the political maturity of Professor Naana over the last four years has been completely remarkable and once again, it led me to the conclusion that John Mahama is in a safe pair of hands to run this country because John Mahama has been able to identify a diamond in the rough, polished it, refined it and today it is a shining gem for all of us to see,” Sam George noted.

Furthermore, Sam Nartey George reechoed that it is time to redeem citizens from severe hardship and the independence of Ghanaian citizens where their respect will not be snatched with sheer impunity.

“Prof. [Nana Jane] was clear when she said never in the history of Ghana even under military dictatorship, we have not seen this level of greed, unbridled arrogance, unrestrained impunity, sheer dishonesty, barefaced hypocrisy and the incompassion that has been displayed by the NPP government,” he stated.

John Dramani Mahama unveiled Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as his running mate for the upcoming 2024 elections in Accra on Wednesday, April 24,

Held at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), during the official unveiling, the NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama expressed unwavering confidence in Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, describing her as a perfect complement, possessing dignity, courage, integrity, and grace.
