NABCO trainees unhappy with Bawumia’s appointment of Dr. Ibrahim Anyars as his Dep. Campaign Manager

The Nations Builders Corps (NABCO) trainees have expressed their displeasure at New Patriotic Party flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s appointment of Dr Ibrahim Anyars as his Deputy Presidential Campaign Manager.

In a statement issued on the 21st of February 2024 available to Metro TV, the NABCO trainees said the appointment of Dr Ibrahim Anyars, who was the CEO of the Nation Builders Corps as the Deputy Presidential Campaign Manager for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a clear indication that the Vice President does not have the vulnerable youth, particularly NABCO trainees at heart.

According to the trainees, Dr Ibrahim Anyars has failed woefully in responding to official petitions submitted to his outfit for the nine (9) months payment of the NABCO areas after the expiration of the contractual agreement in September 2022.

They accused Dr. Anyars of failing to honour the invitations of the media to explain publicly what has necessitated the delays of the NABCO areas and the development of the implementation of the career pathways transition process which was eagerly launched to usher the NABCO trainees into the permanent mainstream jobs after the one-year additional contract expired.

Furthermore, NABCO trainees said “the insensitive posture” of Dr. Ibrahim Anyars has “subjected vulnerable NABCO trainees into anger, hunger, and deprivation.

“We have been crippled and left penniless and highly in debt. Our dignity has been trembled upon and our honor fed to the dogs.”

The trainees indicated in the statement that “interestingly, these days government does not taut NABCO as an achievement because of the embarrassing fact of the unpaid nine months errands.”

They demand the immediate withdrawal of “Dr. Ibrahim Anyars from his team if his appointment as the Deputy Presidential Campaign Manager is meant to capitalize on the flipped-flopped NABCO scheme to deceive and hoodwink unemployed youth to vote for him, Enfa”.

The NABCO trainees said they are going to intercept any partisan utterances, and signages that will leverage on the failed NABCO in an attempt to win the 2024 general elections.
