Sam George fumes at school promoting LGBTQI+ activities in Accra

The Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram Constituency, Sam Nartey George, has slammed a school in North Legon of the Greater Accra Region for allegedly promoting homosexuality.

Sam George threatened the closure of the undisclosed school for breach of parent-school consent regarding the anti-LGBTQ.

Speaking on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV, the firebrand politician indicated that his address at the UN headquarters in New York about the fight against LGBTQ is not directed at their humanity but sexuality.

“This is not a foreign problem. There’s a school in Ghana today that came on social media that brought a so-called influencer to sit in the classroom with 7th – 9th years and tell them that it was okay to love themselves and it was okay for them to explore sexuality with persons of the same sex, a school in North Legon,” Sam George pointed out.

The unhappy legislator questioned the school’s decision to introduce homosexuality without seeking the consent of the parents. He believes it is irresponsible on the part of the school to proceed on such tangent.

“You allow children to explore but you don’t force children to change who they are and indoctrinate them and so I am going to be writing to the GES to report that school and request that the school’s license to practice education be withdrawn because what that school did is called grooming, they are grooming the kids without the permission of the parents of these children,” Sam George issued.

Juxtaposing the practice in UK schools where before a medication would be administered to a child the parent have to consent, he wondered why the undisclosed school in North Legon would proceed to reorient pupils without consulting their parents.
