The headmaster of Adisadel College has addressed the frightening video depicting a violent assault on a student by another in one of the school’s dormitories.

A viral video making rounds on social media captures one student locking the victim’s arms and slamming his face against a metal bed, resulting in profuse bleeding beneath the victim’s right eye while their colleagues watch unconcerned.

Parents, students, and members of the public are outraged and concerned about the incident, which was made public by the viral video.

The event allegedly took place on June 30, but both the culprit and the victim first kept it a secret from the authorities, according to a brief statement purportedly issued by the headmaster through the chairman of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the school.

The statement said the two students who are both in their final students have been sanctioned.

The culprit has been dismissed while the victim, is suspended.

However, the culprit will be made to write his final exams with the West African Examination Council.

Onlookers who made no attempt to save the situation will also be sanctioned.

While the housemaster, his assistant, and the one responsible for capturing the scene will face suspension with different sanctions.
