Time for Africa to commit to AfCFTA for economic turn – Akufo-Addo

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has assured that the government will ceaselessly empower the Ghana Investment Promotion Council to take the front role in bringing together non-governmental agencies that will continue to commit their resources to the revival of the business enterprise of the country.

He commended all state institutions that contributed to making the ‘Spark Up 2021’ conference successful, sounding a wakeup call for the black to discover its true identity by committing resources to promote the change of the Ghanaian business enterprise and to ensure that it is involved in the growth of native and Africa in general.

In a closing remark at the ‘Spark up 2021’ conference at the Kempinski Hotel, the President said his outfit will put the organizers of the program in an advantageous way to continue to live up to their mandate.

“We will strengthen GIPC to continue to play a lead role in assisting the government to mobilize private sector complementary investments for the resurgence of the Ghanaian economy,” he said.

The President mentioned and thanked state institutions that contributed the functions of their offices to the success of the program recognizing the work that went into the organization.
