Aggrieved Menzgold customers petition AG over disbursement of NAM 1’s GHS2.5m

The Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold Ghana (CACM) has appealed to the Attorney General and Minister for Justice Godfred Yeboah Dame not to disburse the GHS2.5m released by the CEO of the defunct company Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1 according to his list.

According to the aggrieved Menzgold customers, they cannot verify the names of the “so-called” customers list issued by NAM 1 hence their decision.

In a statement available to Metro TV, the customers urged the Attorney General not to succumb to any external pressure but remain resolute in his quest to uphold justice and ensure the rightful customers reclaim their locked-up funds.

“Nana Appiah Mensah should never to allowed to determine who should be first or last,” the statement added.

“All customers are entitled to their monies at the same time and as a condition, we will resist any attempt by NAM 1 and his Menzgold to discriminate against customers in the matter of payment,” the statement noted.
