December 7 2024 will be Ghana’s 2nd Independence Day – Edudzi Tamakloe

A legal team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe says Ghana will regain its second Independence come December 7, 2024 after the NPP government is ousted from office.

He believes Ghana is in a dire state dire to the people at the helm of affairs.

Contributing to discourse on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV on Thursday morning, Edudzi Tamakloe condemned the Akufo Addo-led government stating that his administration has ruined public confidence in the country’s democratic process

“I have no doubt in my mind that December [7] 2024 is going to be Ghana’s 2nd Independence Day from NPP government,” he told Randy Abbey.

He further indicated that the Akuffo Addo and Bawumia administration has lowered the standard of governance system to an appalling level.

“We have never seen this low in governance system than what the wasteful, reckless (sic) and corrupt Akufo Addo/ Bawumia administration,” Edudzi Tamakloe added

“Today, Mr.Akufo Addo by his misleading leadership has destroyed public confidence in our democratic process,” he said

According to the legal practitioner, the masses are calling for the return of former President John Mahama to salvage Ghanaians from the unprecedented hardships. However, the support of every Tom, Dick and Harry will make this a reality.

“There is a growing cry on the streets and homes that John Dramani Mahama must return and it is our believe that with the support and mandate of the people of this country that will make this reality,” He added.

Meanwhile, the former NDC Campaign Manager, Joshua Alabi, picked presidential nomination forms on behalf of former President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday, February 22.

He was accompanied by some National Democratic Congress (NDC) Regional Chairmen,

Mr. Mahama declared his intentions to run for President on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the 2024 general election

He announced on Tuesday during a meeting with the Minority caucus at his Cantonment office.

John Mahama has received unanimous support from all NDC Lawmakers in Parliament.
