Two of the three treatment facilities at the Weija Headworks will be shut down on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, for maintenance and repair work, the Ghana Water Company Limited has announced.
In a statement on Monday, July 3, 2023. the company said the maintenance works will be completed in sixteen hours.
“Customers in and around Kasoa, to store enough water ahead of this important exercise,” the water company urged.
The areas to be affected include Kasoa, Tetegu, Weija township, Weija SCC, Bortianor, Tuba, Macarthy Hill, Nyanyano, and surrounding areas.
Management assured its cherished consumers that the water supply will resume as soon as the work is completed.
“The inconvenience this may cause is deeply regretted,” the statement added.
