Hughton was not biggest problem at Black Stars – Collins Adomako Mensah

Following the senior men national team exiting the AFCON tournament without a single win, including two draws with Egypt and Mozambique and a loss to Cape Verde, coach Chris Hughton was relived of his duties along with the dissolution of the technical team.

However, a member of Parliamentary Committee on Sports and Member of Parliament(MP) for Afigya Kwabre North Collins Adomako Mensah has argued that sacking of the coach was not the paramount problem facing the national men team.

According to him, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) need to take the right actions with regard to the current crises and not just have conversations with the media.

‘’Sacking the coach was not the biggest problem we need to take action not just talking,’’ he added.

The Ghana FA is on the verge of appointing another coach to replace Chris Hughton.
