The flagbearer of the NDC John Dramani Mahama has promised residents of Bawku and Garu modern hospitals.

He made the statement when he paid a courtesy call on the Bawku Naba at his Palace.

Aside from peace and stability, one of the major needs of the people of the Kusaug area is health care delivery.

During a visit to the area by former President John Dramani Mahama, he promised the chiefs and people of the area to complete the Garu district hospital project which is abandoned, and to build a modern hospital for Bawku.

On his part, the Bawku Naba and Overlord of the Kusaug Traditional Area Naba Asigri Azoka ll stated that he is hopeful in God, the gods of the land, and relevant stakeholders that the conflict in the area would come to an end.
