NPP Primaries: Akosua Manu wins Adentan seat

Akosua Manu has been elected the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Adentan seat in the forthcoming 2024 election.

The governing party on Saturday, December 2, 2023, held primaries in constituencies it currently has no representatives in Parliament.

In the Adentan Constituency, Akosua Manu, the first-time contender received 814 votes, with Kwasi Obeng Fosu receiving 638 votes.

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Youth Authority stated that the NPP was the only party capable of fostering development for the people of Adenta.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, the CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority has won convincingly to represent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 parliamentary election in the Ledzokuku Constituency.

Out of all the valid votes cast, Dr. Boye, a former Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, received 902 votes.

His closest contender, Collins Nii Ashitey Ollenu secured 354 of the valid votes.
