NPP Vows To Snatch Assin North Seat In 2024

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has vowed to snatch the Assin North Parliamentary Seat from the NDC in 2024.

This follows the defeat of the party in the just-ended by-election where the constituents stuck with the NDC candidate who garnered over 57% over the NPP’s Charles Opoku who polled 42%.

Speaking to the media after the defeat, the Director of Information Technology (IT) of the NPP, Eric Ntori admitted that the election did not go well for the party.

He confessed that although the party lost it all in the by-election, the NPP will return to the drawing board and strategize for the 2024 General Election.

Mr. Eric Ntori added that the party is going to implement measures so that they can snatch the seat from James Gyakye Quayson and the NDC in 2024.

The Director of Information Technology of the NPP said, “it didn’t go well for us but it doesn’t matter that we lost it all…we’ll go back to the drawing board; prepare again and come back in 2024 and make sure we can snatch the seat again”.
