Egypt captain Mohammed Salah says he is still injured and doubts he will play against Cape Verde on Monday at the Stade Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium.

“I am still injured and the medical team is working on my injury”.

He said, “I hope I can be fit to play the game tomorrow but if not they are still other players to do the job”.

Mo Salah suffered an injury before halftime in the game against Ghana on Thursday night.

Egypt currently have 2 points after two games in Group B and they will be looking forward to win against Cape Verde tomorrow to aid their qualification to the Round of 16.
