Executive Committee member of the Ghana Football Association, Dr. Randy Abbey maintains the football governing body nor its leadership wants Chris Hughton out.

Responding to media publications suggesting negative position of leadership, the experienced administrator maintained the Execution Committee have never discussed Chris Hughton as an individual or his fate as a manager of the Black Stars.

“We have never discussed Chris Hughton as an agenda “, he fumed on Accra-based Original 91.9FM on Friday, July 21, 2023.

The celebrated political journalist cautioned colleagues in the media land scape to be wary of such misleading stories else they risk being given the audience for high profile interviews by administrators.

Chris Hughton is yet to loose a game as head coach of the senior national team, black stars after three games.
