“It has really been a difficult 24-hours since this news broke and it is taking a toll on all of us and we are all in utter disbelief. I woke up this morning hoping that the news will emerge as fake news, one of those expensive jokes but it appears that this is real and we have to brace ourselves with this shocking demise of Hon. John Kumah,” he said

Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa stated that he has known the late John Kumah since their teenage years and had participated in numerous student activism during his Senior High School years through to the university.

Speaking on the show, Member of Parliament for Anyaa-Sowutuom, Dickson Adomako Kissi says the late John Kumah who was also a colleague Member of Parliament for Ejisu was one of a few noble men in the New Patriotic Party (NPP)

“He died a true patriot, there are very few noblemen in the NPP and I think John Kumah is one of the few noblemen and I will say that he is a testimony of somebody who believed in God as a politician and stood true to faith and religion and principles”

The Anyaa-Sowutuom MP believes the late MP was lifting a lot of under privileged in and out of his community.

“I feel not just the pain but the suffering and I can look at the people who were crying yesterday at his house and I know they are crying largely because he really was lifting many people out of their pain and misery”
