Flagbearer hopeful of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Francis Addai Nimoh has called on members of the party to vote for a new face in the upcoming Presidential Primaries to lead the party in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

According to Mr. Nimoh, the party needs a new face who has not been part of the current administration, who is unblemished and who can unify the party towards the 2024 general elections.

He intimated that any member who has served in the Nana Akufo-Addo-led government would not be appealing enough to electorates to be able to win the 2024 general elections for the party

Mr. Addai Nimoh was speaking with the media at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi when he paid a courtesy call to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, to formally informed him of his bid to lead the party going into the 2024 general elections.

The Asantehene, while wishing Francis Addai Nimoh success in his bid to lead the NPP party, pleaded with the party to choose a strong candidate who has the capabilities to steer the affairs of the nation not just lead the NPP.
