The first spot on the ballot has been chosen by Ken Agyapong, a flagbearer candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), for the upcoming November 4, 2023, presidential primaries.

The second place was chosen by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the third by former Minister of Agriculture Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and the fourth by former Mampong Member of Parliament Francis Addai Nimoh.

This comes after a vote for the candidates was cast on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, by the party’s elections committee and representatives of the Electoral Commission.
