PNC Internal Wrangling: Bernard Mornah calls for unity and cool heads

Aspiring standard-bearer for the People’s National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah, has issued a resolute call for decorum and reconciliation within the rank and file following a recent High Court ruling that upheld the suspension of the General Secretary of the party.

The ruling, which should bring closure to internal disputes, has prompted the Bernard Anbatayela Mornah 4 President Team to advocate for a collective approach to propel the party forward.

Recognizing the significance of this moment as a “family affair”, Mr. Mornah in a press statement, emphasized the need for cool heads and inclusive dialogue to rejuvenate the party’s spirit and appeal to Ghanaians who have become dissilutioned as a result of bad governance by the Nana Addo-Bawmia government.

“This is a family affair, and calls for cool heads to integrate all persons within this truly Nkrumahist party. We need all and sundry within our ranks to be able to sell our message to Ghanaians who are despondent with the state of affairs.
I therefore urge the national leadership to embrace all persons involved in the legal tussle, amicably resolve and signalize a rebirthed PNC”

Mr. Mornah also underscored the importance of embracing all individuals involved in the legal proceedings by prioritizing amicable resolutions and fostering a sense of unity in
the party with the aim of signaling a renewed PNC which is ready to address the aspirations of the Ghanaian populace.

Key to this revitalization effort, according to Mr. Mornah, is the establishment of a comprehensive timetable for internal elections, spanning from electoral areas to presidential primaries, thus ensuring transparency and democratic participation at all levels.

“We need to assiduously work on a timetable for internal elections from the electoral area to constituency, regional, national and culminate with presidential primaries”

“Ghanaians are in dire need of hope, renewed patriotism and dignified living, which a PNC-led government has what it takes to deliver.”

Mr. Mornah further asserted that the PNC is ready to assume the mantle of leadership, adding that with a steadfast commitment to decisive, progressive, and transparent governance, the party stands poised to offer a viable alternative to address the nation’s collective challenges.

“Shall we delay any longer? No, the time is now for PNC to showcase its readiness to assume the reins of government to offer a decisive” the statement call to action.
